CELESTIELLE CHARITABLE TRUST TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

CCT's mission is to broaden the worldview of young New Zealanders by providing meaningful international travel experiences.  Established in 2021, CCT partners with high schools in the South Island and with the Rising Foundation in the North Island to select travel scholarship recipients.

In its first year of operation CCT granted student travel scholarships to Botswana, Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore. These are fully-funded trips designed by Celestielle and inclusive of all airfare and other transportation, accommodations, excursions, and meals. Each group of scholarship recipients is comprised of deserving student-leaders tasked with giving back to the communities they visit through giving and volunteering.

The Celestielle Charitable Trust has established an annual travel scholarship programme for secondary students in Nelson, New Zealand. Year 12 students from one of the three Nelson secondary schools are encouraged to apply for one of twelve travel scholarships. Four winners will be chosen per school and announced at Prize Giving in November. Travel will take place over the term 3 holiday during Year 13.

Note: The Health & Safety/EOTC and supervision of the trip will be managed by teaching staff from participating schools on an annual, rotating basis. The Celestielle Team will professionally plan and organise this trip, seeing to every detail with the utmost care - but Celestielle staff will not accompany the group.
